Sharing memories of legendary pro-wrestler Ernie 'The Executioner' Moore and his incredible impact on my journey.

I’ll never forget the first day I walked into Ernie "The Executioner" Moore’s training gym. I was nervous, unsure of what to expect, but Ernie’s larger-than-life personality immediately put me at ease. From the moment he walked in, you could feel the energy shift. He wasn’t just a legendary pro-wrestler; he was a force of nature. His presence was commanding, but his kindness and warmth showed that he was much more than just a trainer.

Ernie had this incredible way of pushing you to be your best while making you feel like you were capable of anything. He wasn't just teaching me how to wrestle; he was teaching me life lessons. There were days when I doubted myself, but Ernie always saw something in me that I couldn’t see. He would always say, "You’ve got it in you, kid. Now, let’s get to work." His belief in me, in all of us, was unwavering.

One of my proudest moments was being showcased in Mark Zelenski’s book Hamilton from the Heart, where Ernie’s influence and incredible character shone through. To be included in a book that celebrated the journey of wrestlers was an honor, and I’ll never forget how proud Ernie was to see me in those pages. It was a testament to the work we did together and the bond we shared, not just as trainer and student, but as friends.

Ernie wasn’t just a trainer to me; he was a mentor and a true friend. He always had a way of making everyone around him feel valued and important. He was an amazing and loving human being, and I am beyond grateful for the experiences he gave me. He showed me what it meant to be part of something bigger than myself, and he was always in my corner, no matter what.

Ernie’s impact extends far beyond the training ring. He shaped lives, inspired generations, and left an indelible mark on the world of professional wrestling. I’ve had the privilege of experiencing that firsthand, and I know that the lessons and memories he gave me will stay with me forever.

To his wife, children, family, and all of his pro-wrestling fans, my heart goes out to you. Ernie was a remarkable man, and he will be deeply missed by everyone whose life he touched. He gave so much to the wrestling community, to his loved ones, and to all of us who had the honor of knowing him. My thoughts and condolences are with all of you during this difficult time. May his legacy live on in every story shared, every match fought, and every life he inspired.

Thank you, Ernie, for everything. Your belief in me, your friendship, and your guidance changed my life. I will never forget the lessons you taught me, and I will always carry your memory with me, in the ring and beyond. I want to extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Ernie’s beautiful wife Georgie, family, friends, and pro-wrestling fans during this difficult time.

You were more than a trainer—you were family.

Under Moore’s guidance, they honed their craft, learning not just the physicality of wrestling but the mental toughness and respect that came with it. A night of recognition, honor, and unforgettable moments, paying tribute to the athletes who bring passion and excellence to the squared circle.
